Credit Card & Points Meetups in India: Where Practitioners Meet

    Miles Ahead: the city workshop

Miles Ahead is the city-by-city workshop format. A full day, capped at a small group, structured around three things: credit card portfolio audit (your cards, your spend, your gaps), award booking strategy (the sweet spots that work for Indian itineraries), and a working practice session where attendees actually search and price out a real award.

    • Miles Ahead Delhi 2026: 17 May 2026, New Delhi. Details and seat booking.
    • Miles Ahead Bangalore 2026: dates to be announced.
    • Miles Ahead Mumbai 2026: dates to be announced.

    The Points Syndicate

The Points Syndicate is the invitation-only annual gathering. The 2026 edition is in Bangkok and brings together India's top 20 to 30 points practitioners: the people who fly Suites, QSuites, Emirates First, and Ritz-Carlton on Indian credit card points. Three days, a curated experience, and a closed-door working session.

Apply to the Bangkok 2026 cohort.

    The always-on Discord community

Between meetups, the live discussion happens in the Discord community. Channels for Infinia, Atlas, Magnus, Amex, transfer-bonus alerts, premium-cabin award space, and trip planning. Free to join.

How to evaluate any credit card meetup in India

    1. Is it paid? A small fee filters out tourists. Free events tend to be issuer marketing.
    2. Is it capped? 30 to 50 attendees is a meetup. 500 attendees is a conference, and conferences are usually content-light.
    3. Who runs it? Working practitioners or salaried marketers? It matters.
    4. Is it issuer-independent? If a single bank's logo is on every slide, treat it as a sales pitch.
    5. Does it produce specific outcomes? A real meetup leaves you with a written plan, not just business cards.

If a 1-on-1 conversation is a better fit than a group meetup, that is what a Strategy Session is for.

    Frequently asked questions

Are credit card meetups worth attending?

Yes, if the meetup is paid, capped, and run by working practitioners rather than an issuer or aggregator. Free events sponsored by a single bank are usually a sales pitch in disguise. Paid, multi-issuer events draw the people who actually fly business and first class on points.

Where is the next Miles Ahead Delhi meetup?

Miles Ahead Delhi is on 17 May 2026 in New Delhi. Limited seats. Details and booking on the Miles Ahead Delhi page.

How do I get invited to The Points Syndicate?

The Points Syndicate is invitation-only. Apply via the syndicate page. Selection is based on points-and-miles maturity, professional context, and fit with the cohort. The 2026 edition is in Bangkok.

Are these events sponsored by HDFC or Axis?

No. The Great Indian Points & Miles Show is independent of any issuer. Sponsorships, when accepted, are disclosed and never compromise content.
